  Peterson Elementary School is a neighborhood Pre-K to 8th grade school located in the North Park neighborhood of Chicago named after Mary Gage Peterson. The vision at Peterson is to develop college graduates, community leaders, and cultural ambassadors. This exhibit will look at the life of Mary Gage Peterson through the lens of the vision statement of the school named in her honor. It will show the ways in which Mary Gage Peterson was a college graduate, a community leader, and a cultural ambassador.
